A: Achieving and maintaining stunning color is not just about the salon visit—it’s a partnership between the condition of your hair and your at-home regimen. The health of your hair plays a crucial role in the longevity of your color.

If your hair is damaged, color can easily fade or wash out. That’s why I emphasize the importance of using the right shampoo and conditioners at home. My professional-grade products are specifically designed to nourish and protect your color, helping it stay vibrant and true for longer.

Invest in your hair’s health and unleash the full potential of your color. Let me guide you in choosing the perfect products for your specific needs. Together, we’ll ensure your color radiates with brilliance, wash after wash.

A: The average person loses 100-150 hairs per day. You may notice you lose more hair after a shower. The reason for that is the scalp stimulation created by shampooing and conditioning cause more blood flow to the hair follicle and the hairs that were ready to fall out come out. We also lose more hair in the summer than in the winter. In addition, a change in hormones (puberty, pregnancy, and menopause) can affect our hair dramatically. You may notice a change in the texture (curly or straight), porosity (dryness) and amount of hair you have. Often, once the body acclimates to the hormone changes our hair settles down. If the problem persists, please consider seeing a doctor.

A: A quick fix is to add some low-lights that are as close to your natural shade as possible. Remember, I am trained to correct color so I know to try to only retouch the strand I have previously highlighted. Once my client achieves the desired amount of highlights, they don’t have to deal with becoming too blonde over time.

A: If your hair has experienced damage, don’t worry, there are solutions available. However, the right approach depends on the extent of the damage and your unique needs. As a hair professional, I can provide tailored recommendations once I assess your hair condition.

I invite you to schedule a consultation with me to discuss your specific needs. Together, we can explore the best options to repair and restore your hair’s health and beauty. Contact me today and let’s start your journey to healthier, more resilient hair.

A: A hair stylist styles hair all day, every day. We have the practice and the education necessary to achieve almost any look. I’d be happy to explain what I am doing and why as I style your hair. Ask for tips you can try at home to make it easier. Finally, practice, practice, and practice some more, that’s how I learned! Practice makes permanent.

A: Find a picture that is as close to what you want, and bring it with you on your appointment. The most common issue is communication, or the lack thereof. It is the my job is to figure out what you mean and advise you on whether or not the style will work for you. Many things play into a new style change, the amount of time you spend on your hair each day, the texture of your hair, the maintenance schedule, etc. Plus, don’t be afraid to ask me questions. Our appointment may take a little longer, but the problems that are averted are well worth the extra time.
